A hands-on introduction in both theory and practice to computer hardware, software, and open access/source digital tools targeting such areas as research documentation, typesetting, and basic image manipulation. Ethics and
aesthetic concerns in traditional and multimedia documents are also discussed, and students develop a digital research project for deployment through a content-management system such as WordPress as contributors within the context of a project team.
